We are a true full service Catskill style fly shop. Our founder, Les Shannon established Shannon's Fly & Tackle in 1973. Les Shannon's mission as an angler and nationally acclaimed fly tier, was to serve his customers with the best knowledge, flies, tying materials, and products possible. A life long practitioner of catch and release fly fishing, entomology, and conservation, Les Shannon forged an ethic and approach that we faithfully carry into the future of fly fishing. Directions: From Routes. 287/ 78: Whitehouse/ Oldwick exit, go north on CR 517 (approx. 6 miles) to intersection of CR 512. Make left at light and follow into Califon, approximately 3 miles. We are at the foot of the hill on the right, across from the post office. For easier parking, look for Main St. on the right as you come down the hill into Califon. When you see Rambo's Country Store, look for a place to park.

From Long Valley: Follow CR 513 south from Long Valley, make left at Exxon onto CR 512. We are just over the bridge on the left across from the post office. The construction on CR 513 is finished! From state highway 31 Clinton/Flemington/ Pennsylvania (take Rt. 78 east to Clinton and Rt. 31 North: Turn onto CR 513 North. Follow signs for High Bridge and Califon. Drive through High Bridge past Voorhees State Park for approximately three miles on CR 513 North. Make right on CR 512 across from Exxon, down the hill, over the bridge, we are across from the US Post Office on the left.
