Once a Month Shannon's will post
a fly of the month. Les hand selected one of his favorite fly
patterns to share with all of you. This fly may be one of Les's
creations, a new pattern from one of our local Fly Tiers, or one of
the old classics.

Les'
notes: Phase 2 came with the nice emerger hooks, and we fish these
mainly in the film or just below.
Potamanthus, Stenonema, Stenacron
My notes: A good imitation of the May Sulphurs: Rotunda and Invaria
( in larger hook sizes) as well as the Dorothea. Note the 3X long
shank on the Dai Riki allows for smaller hook sizes. This pattern is
deadly when fished in the film as Les suggested.-JH
